European newspapers celebrate Real Madrid’s title and praise Vinicius Jr, favorite for the Best in the World award

It couldn’t be any different. Real Madrid graces the cover of Europe’s main sports newspapers after winning the club’s 15th Champions League, and Vinicius Junior is featured in many of them. Even Barcelona outlets, who do not hide their rivalry and widespread support for the local club, surrendered to the Brazilian striker’s undeniable talent.

In a post on social media, Marca reproduced the Brazilian as a Roman emperor, in allusion to Julius Caesar’s famous phrase, “Veni, vidi, vici” (I came, I saw, I conquered), but with “Vini” in its place from “Veni”. Vinicius was also featured on the covers of the English newspapers The Telegraph and The Observer, consolidating his position as one of the best players in the world today.
