Singer Luan Santana he is “at absolute rest” and is in his home in the Alphaville region, in Greater São Paulo, after feeling ill and canceling the show he would have given on Saturday 1st Divinopolismunicipality of Minas Gerais. On Saturday, the Divinópolis Rural Union, responsible for organizing Divinaexpo, an event where the singer would have performed, released a statement informing that the artist had canceled the show because he felt ill. According to the Union, Luan was admitted to the Albert Einstein Hospital, in Sao Paulo.
The statement, signed by Irajá Nogueira, president of the Union, also contained the information that the artist had had a “sudden illness”, which was quickly denied by the singer’s advisors. This Sunday morning, the team informed the Estadao waiting for test results.
In the new note shared, Luan’s consultant reported that the singer went to a medical visit at the Albert Einstein Hospital’s Alphaville unit last Tuesday, the 28th, after feeling “unwell and feverish.” He was advised to suspend all activities to rest, but he decided to continue with his concert program.
The artist also performed in Lages, municipality of Santa Catarina, on Wednesday 29th, and in Votorantim, in Sao Paulo, on Thursday 30th. On Saturday, however, Luan fell ill upon arrival at Brigadeiro Antônio Cabral Divinopolis airport.
The statement released by the city’s Rural Union said the artist needed immediate transportation to the capital of Sao Paulo. “The event management emphasizes that they were as surprised as the audience, because everything was ready to welcome them,” reads an excerpt. It is worth recall that, on Tuesday (28), after feeling ill and feverish, Luan underwent a medical consultation at the Albert Einstein Hospital, Alphaville Unit, with Dr. Caio Godoy Rodrigues, who advised him to immediately suspend all activities to remain completely at rest.
The artist, however, insisted on sticking to his show schedule and performed in Lages (SC), on Wednesday (29), and in Votorantim (SP), on Thursday (30). But on Saturday 1 June he went to Divinópolis (MG), where, after landing at the local airport, he felt ill again.”
