Tour dates for the actor-singer’s band begin in August
Keanu Reeves will return to the stage with his bass in hand. The actor, known for roles such as Neo in The Matrixhit the road with the Dogstar, the grunge trio he played with in the 90s and early 2000s, in the summer of the Northern Hemisphere. The band reunited in 2020 and released a new album, titled Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees, last year. Now, they are embarking on what they call their Summer Vacation Tour.
“We’re having so much fun out here on the road interacting with fans at these shows, we wanted to keep it going!” the group said in a statement. “For this upcoming US tour, which starts in August, we plan to try out some new music as well. We hope to see you out there!”
Pre-sale tickets go on sale on the band’s website this Wednesday (5), local time. The rest of the tickets will go on sale on Friday (7).
The band, which also features guitarist-vocalist Bret Domrose and drummer Rob Mailhousereleased videos for the songs “Everything Turns Around” It is “Breach“. They also performed with the song “blonde” in the program The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The band played their first show after more than two decades of hiatus, just over a year ago. “The way this album was created was something magical for us,” the group said at the time of the album’s release. “The fun, passion and friendship shine through in these recordings and we hope the range of emotions connects and resonates with everyone, just as it does for us.”
