Country music legend, singer Dolly Parton, has announced that she is developing a musical about her life and journey Broadway.
Parton he told his fans that he is “finally in development” the show when it opens the CMA Party in the iconic Nashville (USA) this Thursday (6).
The musical will be called Hi, I’m Dollytitle of his debut album released in 1967.
The show is scheduled for debut in 2026.
“I’m really excited, so you’ll know my whole life so far, and it’s not a jukebox musical,” the 78-year-old star said. “For years I have tried to tell the story of my life and make sense of it,” he told the audience CMA Party.
