Ex-Fifth Harmony releases his first solo work
Pop singer Normani will release her long-awaited debut album this Friday (14) Dopamine, five years after his debut as a solo artist. The album, a collection of 13 new songs, is now available on digital platforms via Sony Music, via RCA records.
Dopamine includes tracks like 1:59″ ft. Gunnaknown for Fukumean’s hit, Wild Side, featuring the rapper Cardi B, Candy paint and a new collaboration with Brandyiconic artist known for success The boy is mine.
The former member of the group Fifth Harmony, despite having released his first solo album, has already accumulated impressive numbers, with more than 12 million monthly listeners and songs that exceed 1 billion streams, such as the song Dancing With A Stranger, in collaboration with Sam Smith.
Normans he expressed it Dopamine AND “a representation of (its) evolution” AND “everything he went through to get to this moment”. The artist also spoke about the expectations and pressure she faced while making the album, as well as battling both her parents’ cancer.
In an interview with Elle magazine, Normans the album title said “represents the ups and downs that (she) has suffered” and that he wanted a title that encompassed everything he felt he had gone through on his journey to get to this point in his career.”
