Sandy gets emotional as she says goodbye to the stage and comments on her career break

The singer’s last performance was in Sao Paulo and featured Xororó and Vitor Kley

sandy had to hold back tears during a show in Sao Paulo, Sunday 16th, remembering that it was his last show before doing one indefinite career interruption. Winning fans since 1991, when she began singing alongside her brother Júnior, Sandy addressed the audience in a exciting speech.

“I don’t make music just to heal myself. It feels like there’s something bigger, it’s something that inspires me, it’s something about my contact with the universe, you know? When I see you vibrate with the same energy as me and come here, giving me your Sunday evening, it’s not a little, it’s a lot. And the people who come from far away, it’s worth it. And I can’t even keep talking otherwise I’m going to cry and I just realized this is the last show for I don’t know how long,” she said from the stage.

It is not the first time that the singer, who has marked generations, leaves the stage. When he separated from his brother and embarked on a solo career in 2007, he too took a break. However, he reiterated that the current hiatus is different.

“I will miss you, I will come back (…). This time I feel much more confident in taking this break. I have already left, I have already returned and you are still here with me,” he said.

The farewell show was attended by Xororó, her father, who took to the stage to sing Trial AND Wait for me, in a duet with his daughter. Another person who thrilled the audience was Vitor Kley, who also sang with Sandy.

At the end the artist thanked the fans who had accompanied her until then and said goodbye, already promising a return. “Thank you for being so special, for understanding me and my moments. I know sometimes it’s not easy being my fan. I know, but let’s stay together, okay guys? I’ll be there soon.” . Thank you so much, I love you!”.
