“It is with great regret that the family of Reynaldo AntonucciO Ronald of the duo The VIPsannounces his death this morning”says a note of condolence published on the duo’s official Instagram account.

“The Vips performed great hits from Jovem Guarda, such as ‘A Volta’, ‘Do Something for Our Love’, [e] ‘It’s Necessary to Know How to Live’, among others”continues the text, which also gives details about the wake and burial of the artist:

“The wake will be this Sunday (23), at 10 am, at the Consolação Cemetery [R. da Consolação, 1660 – Consolação, São Paulo – SP, 01302-001]and the burial at 2pm in the same place”completes the note, signed by the Antonucci Family.

Still on social media, Bruno Antonuccinephew of Ronald and son of Márciowhich completed the duo The VIPs and passed away in 2014, he paid tribute to his uncle in a publication: “Photo taken in 2012, the first and only time I was able to photograph the two of them on stage.
