Patti Smith surprised fans who attended his show in Dublin last Thursday, 27th, by singing a song by Lana Del Rey. Among hits such as “Summer Cannibals”, “Redondo Beach”, “Peaceable Kingdom” and “Dancing Barefoot”, the artist included “Summetime Sadness”, a hit by Del Rey.
Smith was moved when performing the song, which she dedicated to her late husband Fred Smith. She revealed to the audience that the track reminds her of the “wild youth” she lived alongside him.
