Guns N ‘Roses guitarist Slash explained the duration of the band’s shows
The last years of Armas e Rosas were marked by long presentations. With an extensive catalog of records, the band always plays more than 20 songs in the space of two and a half to three hours. After a period of quarantine in the pandemic, the shows got even bigger.
slashthe band’s legendary guitarist, explained the reasons for the long run in an interview with TVKJapanese television broadcaster: “It has an idea of pent-up expectations from not having concerts or any live activity for so many years after the lockdown. It’s a pent-up energy being pushed out.”
The musician recalled how they played three-and-a-half-hour shows on the current tour. According to him, the band doesn’t feel obligated to play for so long, but they do it because they enjoy it: “It’s good, it’s fun. We don’t have an order to play for three hours. We just started and we couldn’t stop.”

Axl Roselead singer of Armas e Rosassuffered an anxiety crisis before the presentation in London, England, last Friday, 1. The show at Tottenham Hotspur stadium was marked by delay, technical problems and a shorter setlist.
According to the newspaper The Telegraph, public could only enter the place two hours after the scheduled time. Part of the delay happened after an anxiety attack from rose. According to newspaper sources, the singer needed to sleep in the stadium where the concerts took place and was calmed by the event’s production.
