Band added two new cancellations to their European tour, with performances in Germany canceled due to health problems; Last week, the show in London didn’t happen either
O Pearl Jam canceled two new shows, this time in Berlinin Germany. The group had previously canceled a date, June 29 in London, due to health reasons. Now, the performances on July 2 and 3 are added to the canceled shows.
In a statement released on the group’s social media, Pearl Jam apologizes to fans, stating that “despite everyone’s best efforts, the band has yet to fully recover.” Check out the full text below:
We regret to announce the cancellation of Pearl Jam’s shows scheduled for Tuesday, July 2 and Wednesday, July 3 in Berlin. Despite everyone’s best efforts, the band has yet to fully recover.
We do not forget the impacts of this decision. We are sorry that so many people have spent their time, money and emotional energy to buy tickets and see the band, and it is heartbreaking to have to disappoint them. We also appreciate the many people who dedicate their hard work to making these shows happen.
Believe us when we say that none of these decisions are easy and that we have tried every possible way to be there for you. We hope that a rescheduling is possible so that we can return to Berlin soon, still on this leg of the tour.

Dark Matter Tour and cancellations
This is not the first tour cancellation Dark Matterwhich premiered on June 22 in Europe. Only two of the scheduled performances have been able to take place so far.
On the 28th, Pearl Jam announced that they would not be able to perform at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in Londondue to health issues in the band.
In a similar statement, the group expressed regret and stated that “there was no other option available” except cancellation at that time.

So far, there is no information about new cancellations on Pearl Jam’s tour. The band’s next shows are scheduled for July 6 and 8, Saturday and Monday, at the Palau Saint Jordi in Barcelona.
