Kesha Releases Her First Single as an Independent Artist


This Thursday (4), singer Kesha released her new single Joyridehis first since leaving RCA Records in June 2023.

“My new single is out now”celebrated in a Live on Instagram, where he listens to the song together with his mother and two friends.

The singer thanked her fans for their support on X (formerly Twitter).

“I couldn’t have done it without all of you. Now let’s go for a walk”Kesha wrote before the release.

It’s worth noting that the singer last year settled her nearly decade-long lawsuit against producer Dr. Luke, after she accused him in 2014 of sexual, emotional and physical abuse, alleging that he drugged and sexually assaulted her in 2005.

He has always denied the charges and they reached a plea bargain.

Kesha celebrated the end of the legal agreement with Doctor Lucaaccused of sexual, physical, verbal and emotional abuse since 2014.

Singer Kesha has released a snippet of a new song and launched her own website so fans can sign up for updates on her career.

During a live performance, the artist revealed that she is free to release new music without being under Dr. Luke’s label, Kemosabe Records, distributed by RCA Records.

“First day I own my voice in 19 years. Welcome,” posted on his social networks.

Details such as the song title or release date have not yet been revealed, but the video shows the singer-songwriter stripping naked to take a bath in a river.

It is worth remembering that the last album released by the singer was Gag order, in May 2023. The work marks the end of the contract with the producer’s record label.
