This Friday (5) the full line-up of Knotfest Brasil has been announced, which will take place on October 19th and 20thto the Allianz ParkIn St. Paul. The second Brazilian edition of the festival is a production of 30e AND Artist Management 5B.
“In 2022, we held the sold-out debut of KNOTFEST in Brazil, with 45,000 people attending the event. Being able to continue this partnership, which has just begun, with an edition that celebrates 25 years of Slipknot, leaves us with even more excitement for what we will do in 2024. Eloy Casagrande Talks Sepultura’s Slipknot Swap
The drummer Eloy Casagrande he explained why he decided to change the Serious for the Sliding knot in an interview with Veja SP.
“I got the invitation to audition after the tour was announced. The most important thing, the reason I accepted the audition, was the end of Sepultura. The band was about to break up and I didn’t want to stop playing drums at 33. Years old.”he has declared.
“There was a conversation with Slipknot, I asked about their schedule, if it was possible to merge the two bands, but they said no, there was no way, I would be exclusive. So it was my decision, because of the End of Sepultura. It was complicated, I informed them when I closed the deal, on February 5th or 6th. That day I called a meeting and explained the situation. So, it was an individual decision. explained.
“It was a huge learning experience. It took many years, three studio albums. Live albums. A lot of writing. A lot of time traveling together. I look back with great affection and a lot of admiration. And a feeling of great gratitude, for all those years, because they, in that period, welcomed a twenty-year-old drummer, giving a great responsibility to a child,” finished.
