Former porn star Adria English’s complaint brings the number of cases against the rap mogul to nine
American rapper and music industry mogul Sean “P. Diddy” Combs is being sued by a former porn star for assault and sex trafficking. Combs, known by his stage names Puff Daddy and P. Diddy, faces multiple civil lawsuits that describe him as a violent sexual predator who uses alcohol and drugs to subdue his victims.
Sex trafficking allegations
The entertainer allegedly used former porn star Adria English as a “sexual pawn for the pleasure and financial benefit of others” during his extravagant “White Parties” in the Hamptons and Florida between 2004 and 2009, the lawsuit alleges.
Increase in the number of processes
This new lawsuit, filed Wednesday (7/3) in a Manhattan court, brings to nine the number of lawsuits against the three-time Grammy Award-winning artist. “Considering all the brave people who have spoken out against the accused Combs, [English] is doing the same thing,” the court document reads. English is seeking a trial and undisclosed damages.
Investigations and searches
In March, federal agents searched Combs’s properties in Miami and Los Angeles, indicating an ongoing investigation. In May, surveillance video showed Combs physically assaulting his then-girlfriend, singer and model Casandra Ventura, corroborating allegations she made in a case settled out of court late last year.
Other cases and accusations
Since Ventura’s indictment, other cases have emerged. A woman claims Combs and two other men raped her at a New York recording studio in 2003. Another lawsuit filed in February 2024 alleges Combs had unwanted sexual contact with a music producer, forcing him to hire prostitutes and engage in sexual acts. The lawsuits also include a sex trafficking case, in which Combs asked an alleged victim to travel from Detroit to New York with an associate on a private jet.
Combs has vehemently denied all allegations.
