The two artists’ friendship was cemented after Coolidge’s participation in the music video for ‘Thank U, Next’
Jennifer Coolidge is invited to go to the recording studio with Ariana Grande. During a podcast interview Shut Up Evanthe singer and the presenter, Evan Ross Katzthey talked about the friendship they have with Coolidge (via People).
Right away, Big reflected on the songs of Eternal Sunshine — her most recent album — in which the actress’s participation would be a good fit.

Friendship
The friendship between the two artists began when Coolidge reprised her role as Paulette Bonafonté from Legally Blondein the music video for “Thank U, Next” by Bigin 2018.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly (via People), Coolidge said that appearing in the video revitalized his career. “I was able to do White Lotusbut I think it all really started when you asked me to be in the ‘Thank U, Next’ video,” the actress told Big.
“I just want to thank you. I know you’re a very humble person, you wouldn’t admit it, but I just want to thank you,” he added. Coolidge later.
