In conversation with Rolling Stone Brazil, Valley He called the show “a very special gathering of people I admire a lot.” He brought people to the show that he had worked with before – whether in songwriting or on stage. The difference is that he had never put together a team before.
“We are doing this repertoire in a very natural way,” reflects the musician. He and Emicide recorded the songs “Gray” It is “Little Joys of Adult Life,” from his and the rapper’s albums, respectively. In addition to the partnerships, the musician asked each guest to bring a song from their own repertoire.
“O Rashid asked if it was possible to put together a bid on top of ‘Sun Fire,'” he says, talking about the song he released on his self-titled 1983 album. With Skyone of the songs will be “There’s nothing” It is dark skinned features, among other tracks, “Summer Samba.”
I’m really excited! It’s going to be a very interesting musical variety on stage.
The idea of bringing guests came about because of the connection with the partner artists. “We wanted to bring people who had something to do with my work in recent times. It’s a special thing. It will be the first time for everyone to be together.”
The artist is a sought-after idol for younger generations. Only in 2024 will he appear in the latest releases of Sky, Novelit’s from Silva, Charmed. He says he loves the invitations: “I like to work, the more the better.”
In the case of Skywe made two songs. One for her album and one for mine, which is coming out. And the Silva I also love him. He asked me to participate and it ended up becoming the single from the album.
For the composer, the best thing about these connections is the new things that come from them. “You keep renewing yourself, so for me, it’s something that’s total fuel!” Frames connects very well with artists from other generations. Whether it’s because of the varied repertoire or the pleasure of working with new people.
“When I had my birthday in Flying CircusI played with Wish Bullet,” recalls the artist, who was in the studio with Paula Morelenbaummother of Doraduring our conversation. “It was a great pleasure to do it with them, it’s something new. My soul is to do something new.”

Acoustic Tunnel
Gray (2020), the singer’s latest album, is four years old, but as he himself Frames emphasizes, standing still is not for him. The next album, entitled Acoustic Tunnelis already ready and even has a tour scheduled in Europe.
Before the album’s release, however, a single made in partnership with Leon Ware — R&B legend — will be restored. The song was written by the two when Frames lived in Los Angeles. The duo formed a great partnership: “We made several and several songs, including ‘Star‘ is mine and his.”
There was one song, however, recorded on a 1978 demo that was never finished. “When I was recording the setlist for this record, I got a cassette tape and Dan Monicawhich produced took to London, took the voice of Leon where it hadn’t finished and I put my voice in Portuguese.”
In addition to the joining of voices, piano and percussion were added. The result is “Feels So Good.” In addition to her, the album features other partnerships in the lyrics such as Sky It is dark skinned. He also rekindled a partnership with Laudir de Oliveira and there is also a letter from Paulo Sergio Vallebrother of Frames. “The rest is all mine, and it’s all new!”

In 60 years on the road, Frames says that he still feels nervous. But he reflects that “it is necessary, because the change in you as a person is so great when you are on stage.” In contrast, he also says that there is a lot of joy in being on stage. And more than that, the satisfaction of being on stage is even greater. We can say that from the audience’s point of view, the satisfaction is also immense.
