This Friday (12), rapper Eminem returns to deliver his long-awaited album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce).
The new album marks Eminem’s first album since Music to be murdered with2020.
Just hours before the project’s arrival, Eminem revealed that the album is actually a “conceptual album” and asked fans to listen to the project from start to finish as he intended, without jumping to favorites.
“Public Service Announcement: ‘Death of Slim Shady’ is a concept album, so if you listen to the songs out of order, they might not make sense.“, she wrote on Instagram.”Enjoy.“
It’s worth noting that Eminem kicked off the release of The Death of Slim Shady with Houdiniwhich peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 for her highest charting entry of the decade. She followed with Tobey featuring Big Sean and BabyTron in early July, which debuted at No. 95 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Eminem showcased collaborations throughout the project with guest appearances from Jelly Roll, JID, Skylar Grey, Bizarre, Ez Mil and more.
According to Billboard, even at age 51, he remains a commercial titan and one of hip-hop’s most important voices, with a Hall of Fame resume that rivals any of his peers.
