With over 2 billion streams on Spotify, ‘Mr. Brightside’ quickly became the standout track on The Killers’ debut album Hot Fuss.
Iconic American rock band led by vocalist Brandon Flowers, The Killers broke two records in Guinness World Records with “Mr. Brightside,” main of Hot Fuss (2004), the group’s debut studio album.
On July 4, 2024, the day of the celebration of Independence of the United Statesthe song in question spent a total of 416 weeks on the UK singles chart (the longest period ever for a band). In addition, the track was the one that had the most weeks accumulated on the singles chart in the European country. In other words, it has been on the charts in the region for almost eight years.
