Nelly Furtado Wants to Collaborate with Taylor Swift

Singer Nelly Furtado has revealed that she wants to collaborate with Taylor Swift. Last Thursday (11), she said in an interview with Extra. “I have a song for Taylor”, he has declared.

“Dom Dolla produced… I think Dom is friends with Travis [Kelce]so let’s get started. We want Taylor in this!” completed.

The topic of Taylor Swift first came up when Nelly Furtado was asked about a viral moment from last year’s VMAs. In a clip from the awards show posted to TikTok, Taylor commented on hit by Furtado, 2001, I am like a bird.

“I take long breaks from music and sometimes I feel like a music librarian trapped in the body of a pop star.”she added. “And I meet other artists and they like my music, like Taylor Swift. It’s like, ‘Oh, shit, that’s cool. Oh really? You were singing my song at a party? That’s awesome.'”

It is worth mentioning that Nelly has released the new single Heart, which features Bomba Estéreo. The track followed Gala and Dali with Juanes and Love Bites with Tove Lo and SG Lewis.

Nelly Furtado’s new album, 7will be released on September 20. Last Thursday (11), the singer talked about her next work in a long post on Instagram.

“How do you explain a song that took 2 years to make, in three different cities, with an army of people, and that is just ONE SONG called CORAZÓN”, started.

“It’s going to sound weird and stupid, but it doesn’t work for me. It’s super personal. Music is my whole language, life, love and blessing, so sometimes it’s hard for me to end it with a bow,” revealed.

“I first felt the energy of what Corazón would become on a trip to Colombia with some friends, and then I kept recording and four years later I have an album, and it’s still about the journey, honestly. That’s the sad part because you can’t relive the journey: the magic and the lessons happen DURING the journey.”he has declared.

“I’ve made 400 to 500 pieces of music in 4 years. My ADHD doesn’t always allow me to organize the creations in a methodical way, so it’s hard to explain how we chose 14 songs that magically rose to the top of the list. Phew – they just come together by being on the same list, 7, like random shells that may be similar, but not similar at all. So this album can’t be listened to as background music, or maybe it can, depending on how you like to enjoy music. I don’t care if you skip songs either, it’s up to you how you enjoy it, I mean it. My only intention was to provide some portals to travel, break free and escape.” He said.

The singer did not fail to mention the importance of music in her daily life.

“I really need music every day. I really need music to listen to every day. My brain doesn’t even work without music,” revealed.

“How beautiful, every time I doubted myself, I saw the number 7 everywhere.”, finished.

Nelly Furtado Re-Releases Debut Album on Double-Color Vinyl
