With Dua Lipa, Metallica, Green Day, and other artists, David Solomon, CEO of Goldman Sachs, is set to perform at Lollapalooza in Chicago.
David SolomonCEO of Goldman Sachs, is scheduled to appear at the Lollapalooza 2022 in Chicago, United States. The businessman often DJs in his spare time, performing at private parties and charity events.
Solomon has commanded the multinational financial group since 2018, and adopts the stage name DJ D-Sol in musical performances. The exact day and time of the manager’s show have not been announced, as is the rest of the festival’s schedule.
By joining the line-up of the Lollapalooza in Chicago, Solomon joins big names in music, such as Dua Lipa, Metallica, green Day, doja cat, lil baby, J. Cole, Machine Gun Kelly and others. The festival is scheduled to take place between the 28th and 31st of July.

O Lollapalooza 2022 is not the first time Solomon participates in major events as a DJ. The businessman has already performed at this year’s Super Bowl party, at an Amazon conference in 2019, among other performances.
However, when opening the electronic music show at The Chainsmokers in 2020, Solomon got involved in a controversy by disrespecting the social distancing measures imposed by the covid-19 pandemic. The incident prompted New York health officials to investigate the event.
While participating in the Goldman Sachs podcast held in 2017, the CEO told how he got involved with music: “I stumbled upon this as a hobby, and now I do it for fun.” In 2018, she founded the Payback Recordsa record label that converts revenue from releases to charity.
