Singer reveals plans to put music aside to focus on other activities after finalizing concert schedule
Adele has announced that she will be taking another break from her career for an indefinite period. In an interview with German broadcaster ZDF, the singer stated that after finalizing her schedule of shows in Las Vegas and Munich, she intends to take a break to focus on other activities and that there are no new songs on the way.
Plans for the future
“I don’t have any plans for new music. I want a big break and I think I just want to do other creative things for a little while,” Adele said. She also said she would take part in a movie, but that won’t happen in the immediate future. “There’s only one movie role I’d love to do, but the person who’s going to do it isn’t mentally prepared to write the script,” she explained.
Adele’s last hiatus from her music career lasted six years, from 2015 to 2021. After the release of her album “25” in November 2015, the singer announced that she would be taking a break from music to focus on her personal life and raising her son, who was born in 2012. Adele returned to music with the release of her album “30” in November 2021.
Secret marriage
The singer recently secretly married sports agent Rich Paul. This is the second marriage for the 35-year-old artist, who this time stepped in to protect her fortune. With an estimated net worth of around $220 million (about 1 billion reais), Adele has proposed a prenuptial agreement signed by her fiancé, ensuring the protection of her accumulated money over the years.
Rich Paul, however, is also successful. Considered one of the greatest sports agents in the United States, he manages the careers of several top athletes. His fortune is currently estimated to be around 120 million dollars (about R$ 590 million).
