The singer explained that she got “Daniel” tattooed many years ago in honor of her partner
Anitta had to speak out on Wednesday (18/7) after MC Daniel spread “false news” involving one of her tattoos. It turns out the public believed she actually had the funk singer’s name written on her forearm, as a tribute to the trip they were taking to Europe.
The game started last afternoon, when the funk singer recorded a video in which he imitated foreigners and told his fans the alleged news: “Anitta has done [uma] a tribute to me and I love it,” Daniel said, prompting laughter from the singer in a hotel room.
With the fallout from the issue, Anitta had to clarify that she got the tattoo a long time ago for someone else she cares about. “Guys, stop being idiots. Daniel said I got the tattoo for him, but there’s not only Daniel in the world, man,” the famous woman complained.
“Now everyone’s here: ‘Where did you get your tattoo?’ [MC] Daniele?’. This is for my partner. I’ve had this tattoo for years, millennia. Wow, many years ago. Those who are true fans of mine know this, right? Those who are fans of mine, who have followed me for years, know that this tattoo has been here for millennia. It’s for my partner, right? Because I love him so much.”
Finally, the singer declared that she also feels affection for the funk singer, but complained about the fans’ attitude: “I love the [MC] Daniel too, but I wasn’t going to just give Daniel a tattoo out of nowhere, right? Damn! Wow, you think I’m crazy too? Oxy,” he added.
