K-pop Shows Liven Up Sao Paulo in Winter

Tickets for Chuu, BDU, NCT Dream, Dreamcatcher and ARTMS shows are now on sale

The coming winter days bring a series of K-pop concerts to Sao Paulo. Groups BDU, NCT Dream, and Dreamcatcher have confirmed performances for fans of the genre.

Chuu opens the season

Former Loona member Chuu is coming to Brazil on August 10 to host a Fan Con for her new album “Strawberry Rush.” ​​The event will be held at Studio Stage, with tickets available at Bileto. Known as K-pop’s “Miss Congeniality,” Chuu has captivated fans with her charming personality and talent since her debut with Loona in 2017. She launched her solo career last year and has impressed in this new phase with creative videos.

BDU goes on its first tour

South Korean group BDU will perform on August 27 at Studio Stage, in Sao Paulo, with their “Tour for Wishpool: Flash & Light”. Tickets are available on Bilheto’s website.

Newcomers to the South Korean music scene, BDU (Boys Define Universe) consists of the quartet Bitsaeon, Seunghun, Jay Chang, and Kim Minseo, who were finalists on the South Korean reality show “Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survivor,” which ran from January to March. They made their official debut on June 26 with their mini-album “Wishpool.” Although the group is new, its members are already well-known. Jay Chang is a member of the boy group ONE PACT and has participated in the survival reality show “Boys Planet”; Seunghun is a member of the boy group CIX; Bitsaeon is a member of MONT; and Kim Minseo is a rising star who is debuting with his first boy group.

NCT Dream Returns to Brazil

Boy band NCT Dream arrives in São Paulo on September 2, at Espaço Unimed. Tickets, which range from R$395 to R$1,726, can be purchased on the TicketMaster website.

After coming to the country for the first time for a concert in July 2023, Mark, Jeno, Haechan, Renjun, Jisung, Jaemin, and Chenle will perform again with “The Dream Show 3” tour. NCT Dream is a K-pop group formed by SM Entertainment in 2016 and still has a number of subdivisions.

Dreamcatcher brings energetic performances

Girl group Dreamcatcher arrives on September 15 with their “Luck Inside 7 Doors” tour. The presentation will take place at Terra SP, a concert hall located in the southern part of the capital city of São Paulo, with tickets sold on the Shotgun website and app. Made up of JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, and Gahyeon, Dreamcatcher debuted in 2017 and has gained a worldwide following for their diverse sound, which blends rock, metal, and pop, and their energetic performances.

ARTMS closes the winter of San Paolo

ARTMS, comprised of former members of Loona, wraps up their winter concert season on September 17, bringing the group’s debut “Moonshot” tour to Terra SP — with tickets available at Pixel Ticket. The girl group, which includes members HeeJin, HaSeul, KimLip, JinSoul, and Choerry, promises to bring electrifying shows after performing in several cities across the United States before heading to Brazil.
