Filipe Catto presented authorial hits, versions and sympathy in show for Rolling Stone Sessions at Blue Note Sao Paulo. The singer played in two sets, in the traditional format of the house, this Wednesday, 30.
With tracks from the latest release, The Birth of Venus Tour(2021), Catto finally took to the stage a project designed for the shows. In addition, it presented tracks from the first album, Breath (2022), to “please the nostalgic.”
Celebrating 10 years of career, Philip delivered to the public some classics of Brazilian music. Among the highlights, intimate versions of “2 lost,” in Arnaldo Antunesand “The love and the power,” in Rosana.
With the support of the musician john augusto on guitar and synthesizer, displayed impressive vocals in the authorial “After tomorrow.” The Melancholy “Body Clothing” gained more dramatic contours with the acapella version, rocked by the applause of the audience present at Blue Note.
For closing, Catto delivered energy with “Torrent,” when the guitar and acoustic guitar heightened the singer’s songwriting emotion. The track is part of the latest studio album, Catto (2017).
