Artist’s van destroyed in 10-vehicle collision
Singer Melody’s van was involved in a serious accident this Saturday afternoon (20/7) on Via Dutra, in Barra Mansa, Rio de Janeiro, while she was on her way to a show. In videos published on social media, the artist showed the conditions of the vehicle, which was completely destroyed. “Thank God no one died. They are all fine,” she said to reassure fans. “I’m posting this because it was a relief,” she added.
Accident report
Melody explained that a bus collided with the back of the van she was riding in. “It hit us and dragged all the cars,” the singer said. According to the Federal Traffic Police (PRF), at least 10 vehicles were involved in the accident.
Consequences of the tampon
According to the images released, the vehicles involved in the pile-up were seriously damaged. The PRF is investigating the causes of the accident and is carrying out the necessary procedures on site.
