Lady Gaga was spotted in Paris this Monday (22), heightening fans’ expectations about a possible participation in the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics. At the end of last week, the official profile of the games published an enigmatic video, which generated several speculations.
In the video, a figure in a metallic dress carries the Olympic flag, but the identity of the person has not been revealed, increasing suspicions that it is Lady Gaga. The singer’s presence in the French capital has further strengthened these rumors. Gaga was seen greeting fans and photographers, increasing anticipation for a performance at the opening of the games.
“Joker 2” star Gaga tried to keep a low profile when she arrived at a hotel in Paris, but paparazzi were already awaiting her arrival. The 2024 Paris Olympics will begin even before the official ceremony. The men’s football and rugby sevens will begin on July 24. The opening ceremony, scheduled for Friday (26), will be broadcast on several television channels.

Lady Gaga paid tribute to Tony Bennett
Lady Gaga paid a touching tribute to her late friend and musical collaborator Tony Bennett on the first anniversary of his death. Bennett, a legend of jazz and American standards, died at the age of 96 on June 21, 2023 after battling Alzheimer’s disease.
Gaga, 38, and Bennett’s friendship blossomed through their musical collaborations, resulting in two hit albums: Cheek to cheek in 2014 and Love for sale in 2021. They were so close that Bennett’s final shows were with Gaga, in two performances at the iconic Radio City Music Hall in August 2021, to celebrate the singer’s 95th birthday.
On Instagram, Gaga shared a black-and-white photo with Bennett, beginning with the caption, “It’s been a year since Tony passed away.” She expressed gratitude for Bennett’s continued friendship with his wife, Susan, the jazz legacy he left behind, and the community of musicians who loved him. “We will continue to miss him,” Gaga concluded.
Bennett and Gaga’s latest collaborative album, Love For Sale, was released in October 2021 by Universal Music and Sony Music and is available on digital platforms. The album, a tribute to Cole Porter, is a celebration of the enduring love and friendship between the two artists.
