The triple album ‘Uma Estrela Misteriosa’ will be released on vinyl and digitally, which marks a new phase in the singer’s career
The singer and songwriter, Nando Reisannounced this Tuesday (23) the launch of the project: A Mysterious Star. Comprising three albums and a bonus disc, the movement is described by the singer as “the most ambitious of his career”. The album will be available in two versions: vinyl and digital.
The project also stands out for the collaboration of a team of international rock stars, including Peter Buck (REM), Barrett Martin (drums), Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses), Krist Novoselic (Nirvana), Mike McCready It is Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam), in addition to Sebastião Reis (12-string guitar), from the band Colomy.

The project is divided into four parts: the albums One, Star It is Mysteriousand the bonus disc Will Reveal the Secret. Together, they will have a total of 26 new songs and four re-recordings. The physical box set, which will include all the albums, will be released on July 27th and will allow buyers to immediately access all the tracks. The digital version will be made available in stages, with the first volume, Onenow available, Star on August 2nd and Mysterious on August 9th.
The release marks a reversal of common practices in the current market, where the trend is to prioritize digital releases and later physical editions. Nando Reis adopts an approach that rescues the vinyl experience, offering a complete experience to those who opt for the physical box. The bonus disc, Will Reveal the Secretwill be released exclusively on vinyl.
The album features production by Barrett Martinknown for his work with bands such as Screaming Trees It is Mad Seasonand the co-production of Philip Cambraia. The executive production is signed by Diogo Damascenawhile the mixing was done by the renowned Jack Endino.
The launch tour has also been announced, and will begin on September 20th, in Macapain the São José Fortress square.
Nando Reis will perform in several cities, including: Belém, Manaus, Belo Horizonte, Fortaleza, Teresina, Sao Paulo, Natal, Salvador, Recife, Aracaju, Ribeirão Preto, Vitoria, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, Caxias do Sul, Novo Hamburgo, Pelotas, Porto Alegre, Chapecó, Passo Fundo, Brasilia, Goiânia and Campinas.
