Lady Gaga’s Paris Olympics performance was pre-recorded; watch video of the act

Surprise name at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, the singer was the first artist to sing

The American singer Lady Gaga performed at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics this Friday 26th. She was the first artist to perform at the party. However, Lady Gaga’s appearance was pre-recorded.

It is not yet known why the artist’s performance was recorded and not live. The international press reported that Gaga recorded her participation about three hours before the ceremony began. The singer also did not sing live, choosing to dub.

Disappointed, a Brazilian present at the ceremony in Paris posted a video in which Gaga’s absence during the party is quite evident.

In the pictures, Lady Gaga appeared on the banks of the Seine, where the ceremony took place. She sang the song My Truc in plumes in honor of the French dancer, actor and singer Zizi Jeanmaire.

Alongside the singer, eight dancers carried pink feather fans that helped compose the singer’s costume, by Dior.

“Even though I am not a French artist, I have always felt a very special connection with the French people and with the singing of French music. I wanted nothing more than to create a show that would warm the hearts of France, celebrate French art and music and, on such a momentous occasion, remind everyone of one of the most magical cities on the planet: Paris,” Lady Gaga wrote on her X account, shortly after the demonstration of her participation.
