In early July 2024, Josh Homme had to undergo ’emergency surgery’ and was required to remain under ‘medical care’ throughout the month.
After the American rock band Queens of the Stone Age cancel shows due to the singer’s “emergency surgery”, Josh Hommethe group had to cancel further live performances because the singer is under “medical care.”
Because of this, the band canceled seven shows that were scheduled to take place in Europe: Sweden (August 8), Norway (9), Denmark (10), France (15), Netherlands (16), Belgium (18) and Portugal (21). In a statement released on social media, the group spoke about the issue.
“Due to ongoing medical care, he is under the orders of doctors who Josh Homme remain in your care in the United States,” Queens of the Stone Age stated. “The following presentations of the QOTSA at festivals were cancelled.”
The family Man and the QOTSA are very grateful for the expression of good wishes and understanding during this period.
