Firerose reacted to the response of Billy Ray Cyrus to the leaked audio that shows the former couple in an argument. They filed for divorce seven months after their marriage.
“This week has been monumental in so many ways, and I appreciate the support,” the songwriter wrote on Instagram.
“There are so many experts, books and resources out there about healing,” she continued. “I promise there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Keep educating yourself.”
Firerose — also known as Johanna Hodges — still marked the call account Dr. Ramani Durvasulaclinical psychologist and author of books on narcissistic abuse in relationships.
Billy Ray Cyrus’s Response
Billy Ray Cyrus spoke out about leaked audio obtained by People. He wrote in an Instagram story last week:
I was definitely at my limit. With each passing day, I began to realize that something was wrong. And that was before I knew she was a fraud. That was before I knew she was the ex-wife of David Hodges. This was before I knew her parents’ last names. I had no idea she had been arrested for criminal trespassing. I saw before my own eyes, everything I thought I knew about her was a lie. She was trying to take my career, my life, and steal my last name. Cyrus for your own benefit. See you in court.
Leaked audio
In the leaked audio, about a minute and a half long, Cyrus is heard fighting with Firerose for allegedly being late for a concert Nicki Minajwhere Billy would introduce himself.
“It’s 9:15, you idiot. I had to leave two hours ago,” the actor said. Hannah Montana. “No, you didn’t have to. You can still leave and arrive on time,” he replied. Firerose.
Cyrus even told his ex-wife to “shut the f*ck up” and called her a “f*cking selfish b*tch”. Meanwhile, Firerose asked him to “please” stop “screaming”.
