The singer celebrates the realization of his old dream of returning to studies and dedicates the milestone to his mother
Singer Buchecha, who formed a famous duo with Claudinho in the funk tune of the 90s, celebrated his graduation in Digital Marketing at the age of 49. He revealed that he dropped out of school as a teenager to work and help his mother, who was a maid.
Overcoming and returning to studies
“Today, once again, I come to thank God for another achievement in my life. I remember that from 14 to 15 years old I stopped studying to work and help at home, since my mother worked alone in two family homes to support me and my brothers,” Buchecha shared on her social networks.
The singer said she has always wanted to go back to school and saw the pandemic as an opportunity to make that dream come true. “Resuming my studies has always been a latent desire in my heart. Two years before the pandemic, I started studying again and then I entered university to study the subject I wanted and I continued until the end, I accomplished my mission, I graduated!”, she said.
Homage to the mother
Buchecha dedicated his success to his mother, who always fought to support the family. “My dear mother has another son trained for the honor and glory of God. Thanks to everyone who has always supported me, my family, my friends and my fans. The little black one here today is ONLY LOVE, ONLY LOVE,” he wrote.
