An auction made by Adaptive Sports Foundationa US sports charity, gives rock fans the chance to dine with none other than James Hetfieldvocalist and frontman of Metallica.
The institution is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that seeks to make athletics more accessible to people with physical and cognitive disabilities and chronic diseases. According to the institution itself, Adaptive Sports Foundation (via Charity Buzz), the date of the dinner in question must be set within three months after the end of the auction.
Additionally, the highest bidder will be able to bring up to three guests to the meal. However, the winner will have to pay the bill and will be able to take a photo with Hetfield and bring something small for an autograph. Flights and accommodation are not included.
The auction is already live and will end next Wednesday, the 21st. At the time this text was written, the highest bid was US$ 28,500, approximately R$ 156.1 thousand at the current exchange rate. The next bid will need to be at least US$ 31 thousand, approximately R$ 169.8 thousand.
