For 18 years, Liam and Noel Gallagher released hits like ‘Wonderwall,’ ‘Live Forever,’ and ‘Stand By Me,’ but split as Oasis in 2009.
Apparently, one of the oldest wishes of fans of Oasis may be close to becoming a reality. After 15 years of separation, Liam and Noel Gallagher made the same post on social media about an announcement that will be released soon. The posts come a few hours after The Sunday Times report that the brothers will perform shows in 2025, in London and Manchestercities of England.
On the night of this Sunday, the 25th, the accounts of Liam, Noel and Oasis have released a short video, with artwork that teases an announcement coming next Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 8am UK time (4am ET). In fact, the date comes almost 15 years after the band officially broke up on August 28, 2009. Watch below:

Furthermore, in the early hours of today, Liam made several posts that indicate a possible return of the iconic group. He posted on Twitter, “next Friday [dia 31 de agosto de 2023]” to a fan who asked: “Liamreunion dates when?” However, another person asked: “You’re getting everyone’s hopes up with all your conclusions about the reunion, just say it’s not happening.” To this, Liam said, “You’re kidding yourself, I said NOTHING.”
In another publication, Liam Gallagher said how “I never liked that word EX.” A fan then questioned the meaning of that statement. “You tell me, man,” the 51-year-old artist responded. Another commented “then say it’s not gonna happen,” to which Liam He made it even more mysterious: “You are trying to put words in my mouth, that is a crime.”
