Adele is about to go on hiatus. At a concert in Munich, Germany, she told the crowd that she will be away from the stage “for an incredibly long time” after wrapping up her Las Vegas residency in the United States, which ends in November.

A video posted on TikTok shows the artist saying: “I have ten shows to do, but after that I won’t be seeing you for an incredibly long time and I will carry you with love in my heart throughout my break.”

“I’ve spent the last seven years building a new life for myself and now I want to live it,” she said (via Complex). “I want to live the life I’ve been building and I’m going to miss you guys so much.”

The latest presentations of Adele are scheduled to take place from October 25 to November 23 at The Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace, concluding a residency that began in November 2022.

The Las Vegas shows were originally scheduled for March, but the singer had to postpone them to rest her voice. Her Munich residency ended this Saturday, the 31st — having started on August 2nd. She played at the Messe München.
