During her recent visit to Brazil, Jade revealed that the idea of creating a funk remix came about as a way to connect even more with the audience, who received her with great affection. The singer mentioned that the request from Brazilian fans was one of the reasons that inspired her to release this new version.
As soon as I heard it was coming here, I was like, ‘Well, we should have a Brazilian remix or something.’ And actually, the fans were asking for it. So, I love this version, it’s really cool. And I hope the fans like it too.” said Jade in an interview with Rolling Stone Brazil.
The funk remix of Angel of My Dreams has already been released and is available on all digital platforms. The track also comes with a hint of montage (MTG), a very typical style of Brazilian funk, which makes the track “more lively and ready to rock at parties”. According to the singer, this version was designed exactly for people to enjoy and dance a lot.
