The parallel programming will feature rappers, former members of Titãs and other attractions during the festival evening.
In addition to the main acts on the Mundo and Sunset stages, this year’s Rock in Rio will feature an extended program at the Itaú stand, with exclusive shows following each night’s headliners. The space promises to transform the lawn into a giant dance floor and mix new talent with established artists.
Rappers and rock from the 2000s open the program
On Friday (13/9), the first day of the festival, rappers BK and FBC take the stage right after Travis Scott’s show, closing the night with a Brazilian touch. The next day, September 14, the group Forfun, a hit of the 2000s, performs after Imagine Dragons’ show.
Former Titans and Liniker meet in the spotlight
On September 15th there will be a special performance with two former members of Titãs, Paulo Miklos and Arnaldo Antunes, who will play after the performance of the band Avenged Sevenfold. On the 19th, the trio Os Garotin joins Liniker to close the night, after the Ed Sheeran show.
Last days with attractions still to be confirmed
The artists who will close the last three days of the festival have not yet been announced, but according to Itaú, they will follow the concept of mixing new talent with veterans of the music. “In addition to celebrating Brazilianness and diversity in artistic curation, we have been careful to promote a mix of new talent with established names in the music scene,” says Rodrigo Montesano, Itaú’s sponsorship leader.
