One of the greatest voices of national rock, singer and songwriter Pitty will be present for two nights at the Rock in Rio 2024 festival. The artist will be the special guest of the band’s show The planet hempday September 15thIn Sunset stage; and the day 21titled Brazil Daythe rocker will be inside World stagein the show Rock Foreversharing the scene with names like Capital Inicial, Detonautas, NX Zero, Rogério Flausino AND Tony Garrido.
With Planet, Sin will perform songs with special arrangements made by the band, including Brave new chiprecorded by the group on the album Reactivated. Node Brazil DayThe rocker will also perform some of her biggest hits, including he adores me.
“I thought the invitation was great. Planet has been my partner for many years, our paths have crossed for a long time. And representing Brazilian women in rock, on Brazil Day, makes me very proud”comments the artist.
Sin was in the Brazilian edition of Rock in Rio 2011 and in the 2006 edition, Lisbon.
The first half of 2024 has started in full swing for Sin. After the end of the tour in April ACNXXa special series of shows that celebrated the 20 years since launch from his debut album, Brave new chipand which included more than 80 presentationsbeing seen by more than 1.5 million people, the rocker returned to the road.
Currently touring the country from north to south, the singer is accompanied by the powerful trio of musicians Martin Mendonça (guitar), Paul Kishimoto (low) and Jean Dolabella (drums).
Pitty makes first appearance after emergency surgery
On July 4, singer Pitty posted on social media for the first time after undergoing emergency surgery.
“Come on, let’s move on! Thanks for the messages, love. See you soon”, he thanked the fans for their affection.
At this time, the artist’s production team has not provided details about the surgery the singer underwent, but said that she would be hospitalized for 10 days.
“On medical advice, Pitty has had to undergo emergency minor surgery and will be hospitalized for 10 days,” the statement read. “We regret the cancellations and inconvenience and continue to monitor the artist’s recovery so that he can return to the stage as soon as possible. The event producers will inform the public in due course of any new dates for these shows,” finished.
