Singer to have dancers’ support to avoid setbacks on Sunset Stage
Eight months pregnant, singer Iza will have a special plan to perform this Friday (20/9), headlining the Sunset Stage at Rock in Rio. To avoid any mishaps, the artist will be accompanied by a doctor and an ambulance will be available backstage.
The festival organizers also prepared a small dressing room next to the stage, where Iza can rest in an armchair until the show begins. In addition, some dancers were asked to act as “guardians” to support her during the show, if necessary.
Historical show
This will be Iza’s fourth performance at the Rio music festival. This year, the singer promises to pay homage to the women who have inspired her throughout her career, as well as performing key tracks from her album “Afrodhit.”
Iza’s performance, which begins at 10:45 p.m., is expected to be smaller than in previous years. She will be accompanied by a larger number of musicians in the show, 24 artists in total.
Iza is awaiting the arrival of Nala, her first daughter, the fruit of her controversial relationship with athlete Yuri Lima.
