Projota was the victim of a robbery in the early hours of this Tuesday (17/9), when criminals invaded his home in São Paulo. The rapper, who was with his two children, Marieva and Otto, was taken hostage during the act. In an official statement, the agency Faz Produções, responsible for the artist’s career, reported the incident and Projota’s condition.
Statement on the crime
“As some of you may already know, we have come to inform you that the artist Projota was robbed this morning. His house was invaded and he was taken hostage. His children were also in the house,” the agency said. The statement also added that for the time being all commitments of the former participant of the program “BBB 21” will be canceled. “At this time Projota is resolving all the needs related to the case and will comment on what happened shortly.”
Repercussions on social media
Projota’s fans and followers protested on social media after the case was exposed. “This is a lifelong trauma,” one user commented. “That everything is fine for them… imagine the scare, especially for children,” complained one follower. Another highlighted the increase in violence: “Seeing someone who lives in a high-security place go through something like this scares me. What’s left for others?”
