Gloria Groove promises strong emotions with the project GG Serenade at the end of the night Rock in Rio Sunset Stage this Thursday, 19. To explain the choice of a show with pop, funk, pagode and other rhythms, the 29-year-old singer appreciated the versatility to prove it “no one is just one thing”.

“I like to explore, to sing a little bit of everything. I’m happy to be able to show it. The message that this sends is extraordinary, showing that no one is just one thing. Just doing it is not enough to be considered valid,” he said in a conversation with reporters.

This change of rhythms does not only exist on stage. As he says, even during the recording, Gloria Groove loves to navigate between the different emotions of the compositions.

“Even when I’m in the studio I need to go from a sad composition to a happy one, so that my day has nuance. This show is a perfect representation of all the things I love,” he continued.

In addition to the versatile presentation, Gloria Groove returns to the Rock in Rio stage tonight, this time as headliner. To the Earthhe recalled the nerves of his first time at the event.

“It’s funny. Nothing in my life will ever be like 2022. It was beyond what you saw on Sunset Stage. It was a really crazy time in my life and I couldn’t wait for it. The Lady Leste Era was the grand realization of my dreams,” the artist said.

To get to Rock in Rio more calmly, the singer mentioned the period in which she was able to focus more on life beyond Gloria Groove, stage name of Daniel Garcia Felicione Napoleão.

“It’s different now, it seems like in the last year I’ve managed to respect myself more, spend more time with my family, with myself, just being Daniel, the creator who dreams and lives for this to happen,” he stressed.

Even without so much pressure, Lady Leste couldn’t hide her excitement at finishing the day on the Sunset Stage with her team: “It’s different now, I don’t have this apprehension anymore. It’s more of a satisfaction. I can definitely trust the people who helped me build this show. It’s very much about them, these talents. Not just those who are with me on stage, but also those who help run this show. And the pride of knowing that we’ve done a really good job together, because in this life you can’t do anything alone,” she added.
