“Every time I stepped on that stage, I completely trampled it. And always throwing into the future the wonderful energies that this festival promotes,” said the artist.
When asked by the press if she still gets butterflies in her stomach when she goes on stage at Rock in Rio, Veveta stressed that it is invigorating to go on stage every time. “It reaffirms more and more how important all this is to me, the pleasure of singing, the possibility, the privilege of being a singer, of having recognition in my country, of being able to share it with the people I love,” she added.
‘Flight’ at Rock in Rio
On Friday 20th, at Dia Delas, Ivete impressed the audience of Cidade do Rock with a flight in the middle of the show during her performance at Palco Mundo do Rock In Rio 2024. “It’s my relationship to always take new flights and do new things. At the same time, while I’m focused, I’m very dispersed. I want to be free. Flying is a connotation of freedom,” the artist commented in an exclusive interview with Estadão.
The courageous moment occurred during the song Minha Pequena Eva “I was not afraid (of flying). Those who have faith are not afraid,” Ivete emphasized.
It is worth mentioning that at Rock in Rio 2019, the singer Pink!, headliner of Palco Mundo, also took flight, flying over the audience.
