Initiative used equipment to measure audience volume at each show and create a list of the loudest artists

In 2024, the Rock in Rio celebrated the festival’s 40th anniversary. In total, the edition had seven days of performances and once again left a lasting impression on fans – especially those who were at Cidade do Rock this Sunday (22).

This is because the artists on the last day of the event were the ones who most excited the audience. This is shown by a ranking made by Heinekenone of the festival’s sponsors.

The initiative was developed by the creative agency LePub Brazil and made possible by Dentsu Creative from the installation of decibel meters. The equipment measured the sound intensity in real time to find out which shows were the loudest.

Of the five performances in which the audience sang the loudest, three took place on the last day of the event. The leader of the list was the American Ne-Yo.

In addition to the ranking, the Heineken also joined the Spotify to create the The Loudest Playlista selection of the songs that reached the highest intensities in the measurement.

The project was designed not only for those who attended the festival, but also for those who enjoyed it from home. The compilation serves as a musical summary of the best moments of Rock in Rio 2024.The Loudest Playlist Banner
