Oasis will perform in Brazil in 2025

The English publication claims that the Gallagher brothers’ band will visit Sao Paulo on their new world tour

The Oasis band is expected to include Sao Paulo on its comeback world tour. The expert English music magazine NME says that the shows on the stages of Sao Paulo will take place in 2025, marking the return of Noel and Liam Gallagher’s band, after years of disagreements, to Brazil.

Meeting awaited for years

According to the publication, the Gallagher brothers are expected to officially announce the dates in the coming weeks. In addition to Sao Paulo, the South American tour will include shows in Argentina and Chile, expanding the band’s reach across the continent. Other countries mentioned in the tour are Canada, United States, Mexico, South Korea, Japan and Australia.

The tour will start in July

The Oasis reunion tour will begin in July 2025 in Wales. The dates confirmed so far extend into September and only include shows in England, Scotland and Ireland, marking the band’s triumphant return after more than a decade away from the stage. The band has already confirmed that, after these performances, they will begin a world tour.

Previous shows

Oasis have already come to Brazil on four different tours and only once did they not pass through Sao Paulo, when they performed at Rock in Rio in 2001. Before that, they had already debuted at the Sambódromo in Sao Paulo with “Be Here Now” in 1998, when he was at his peak. After Rock in Rio, he returned to do an exclusive show in Sao Paulo in 2006, during the “Don’t Believe the Truth” tour. The last visit was in 2009 with the show of his latest album, “Dig Out Your Soul”, when he visited four cities: Rio, Sao Paulo, Porto Alegre and Pinhais (PR).

Shortly after the Brazilian shows, the band took the stage for the last time. During the Rock en Seine festival in Paris, a backstage brawl between Noel and Liam led to Noel’s departure from the band, culminating in the group’s dissolution. Since then, fans have been waiting for a possible reconciliation and return.
