Gusttavo Lima, one of the biggest names in Brazilian country music, has confirmed his participation in a show in Marabá, Pará, this Friday 26 September. The confirmation comes in the context of investigations into the singer’s involvement with the bookmaker Go to Bet.
Despite the controversy, the singer continues to carry out his professional commitments and maintains an optimistic attitude, as demonstrated by the video published on the profile of the event organiser, Positivo Eventos. In the video Gustavo appears wearing a t-shirt ObaBetanother company in the betting industry, inviting its fans to participate in the presentation. The event marks the singer’s return to Brazil after being in Miami, where he closely followed legal movements that included the revocation of a temporary arrest warrant issued against him.
The investigations began afterwards Gustavo Lima join the bookmaker Go to Betof which it acquired a 25% stake in July 2024. According to authorities, in addition to being the emblem of the brand, Gusttavo had financial involvement with the company. Among the deals investigated is the sale of a Cessna plane to Darwin Henrique da Silva Filho, who is also under investigation for money laundering. Also there is the sale of another plane Go to Bet Put R$33 millionwhose assets remained in the name of Gusttavo Lima until the installments were paid. Gusttavo explained that the negotiations were all carried out legally and that the resources used in the transactions come from his entrepreneurial activity.
