Singer Lana Del Rey surprised by officiating her wedding to Jeremy Dufrane, a tour guide who specializes in touring the Louisiana swamps, in a low-key ceremony held Thursday (9/26). The event took place in a swamp in the town of Des Allemandes, where the groom usually conducts his visits.

Discreet ceremony

The ceremony had a few guests, including Lana’s siblings, Caroline Grant and Charlie Hill-Grant. The singer’s father, Rob Grant, was responsible for walking her down the aisle. The celebration, held in the midst of nature, reinforced the intimate character of the event.

Lana Del Rey opted for a white dress with a plunging neckline and ruffles for the big day, while Jeremy Dufrane wore a black suit, paired with a white shirt and brown leather shoes, contrasting with the rustic and natural setting of the swamp .

The couple publicly announced their relationship about a month ago, which makes the wedding a surprise to many fans. So far, no details about the couple’s honeymoon or future plans have been revealed.
