How Sabrina Carpenter may have contributed to the investigation into New York’s mayor

Priest who authorized filming of the artist’s music video in a Catholic church may be involved in investigations related to Eric Adams

Sabrina Carpenter made waves when he recorded the music video for “Feather” in a Catholic church in Brooklyn — and may have indirectly contributed to investigations into the current mayor of New York, Eric Adams.

The singer recorded the video at Our Lady of Mt Carmel-Annunciation Church wearing a short black tulle dress in a setting with items associated with Catholicism, which did not please the religious people.

The priest who authorized the filming, Jamie J. Gigantiellowas dismissed from his position, although he clarified that his intention was to “strengthen ties between young artists” and the Catholic community.

During a show at Madison Square, this Sunday, 29, carpenter said, “What should we talk about? How about how I got the mayor charged?”

Federal investigators issued a subpoena to the church where the artist shot her music video to obtain information about alleged financial or business transactions between Gigantiello and the former chief of staff of Adams, Frank Carone (via People).

The mayor was accused last Wednesday, 25th, of five crimes related to his alleged links with foreign businessmen and a Turkish official who tried to influence his decisions.

Carone left his position in 2022, but is now leading the re-election campaign of Adams.

The Diocese of Brooklyn spoke out about the investigations, stating that it “is fully committed to cooperating with authorities.”

The institution also mentioned “conducts in individual parishes or involving any priest”, which some American vehicles, such as Politicalthey interpreted it as a reference to what happened in the Brooklyn church. The music video for carpenter may have started a domino effect that led the investigation to Gigantiello.

The priest was described as someone who wears flashy accessories, including a Rolex. Finally, the investigation would have reached Adams.

The defense lawyer Arthur Aidala told the The Post what Gigantiello “is not the target of any federal, state or municipal investigation.”
