The new video includes footage shot at the scene where Jon Bon Jovi helped save a woman in Nashville
The band Bon Jovi has released the long-awaited video for “The People’s House,” partially recorded on Nashville’s John Seigenthaler Bridge in early September, where Jon Bon Jovi prevented a suicide attempt.
The singer came across the situation at the end of the recording work. A surveillance camera captured the moment he noticed and approached a woman in distress who was about to jump, carried her off the railing and brought her back to safety on the bridge. The calm approach and the fact that the woman recognized the famous star were key in securing the rescue on the Cumberland River.
The clip and the disc
Recorded in black and white and directed by Bojan Vanovac, who previously worked with the band on “Do What You Can” (2020), the video features Jon Bon Jovi alongside country duo The War and Treaty, performing the track album “Forever” . The clip also includes scenes of everyday people lip-syncing to the song, reinforcing the lyrics’ emotional message about ending polarization and hate.
“The People’s House” is part of the band’s sixteenth studio album, “Forever,” released in June via Island Records. The work has attracted attention for its powerful messages and themes that speak to everyday life and human resilience.
