Liam Payne had multiple traumas and hemorrhages, preliminary autopsy says


Authorities indicate that the English singer “jumped” from the balcony of his hotel room

The Argentine authorities released this Thursday morning (17/10) the results of the preliminary paternity of Liam Payne, who died at the age of 31 on Wednesday afternoon (16/10), in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. The information was released by the Clarín newspaper.

The spokesperson for the Buenos Aires Ministry of Security revealed that the preliminary examination concluded yesterday evening, and underlined that the English singer “jumped” from the balcony of the hotel room where he was staying. As a result, he suffered polytrauma (several fractures) and internal and external hemorrhages.

The musician’s body will be subjected to further tests, also to ascertain whether there was the presence of any substance (alcohol or drugs) that could have influenced his state of health. It is worth mentioning that, during the search of the room, the authorities found controlled drugs such as clonazepam.

Death of Liam Payne

Liam Payne’s body was found by police on Wednesday afternoon (16/10), after he fell from the balcony of his room on the third floor of the Casa Sur hotel. The authorities had been called moments before the accident, following a report of an “aggressive man and possibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol”. Death was instantaneous and confirmed at the scene.

The investigation is still ongoing, according to the Associated Press.
