Iconic frontman and singer-songwriter of the British rock band The Cure, Robert Smith gave his opinion on what would be, in his opinion, the group’s worst studio album, known for songs like “Boys Don’t Cry,” “Friday I’m in Love,” “Just like Heaven” and “Lovesong.”

In an interview with Matt EverittDJ from BBC Radio, Smith talked about which song from each of the albums The Cure he thought it would fit into the next in the band’s discography, titled Songs of a Lost Worldscheduled for release on November 1, 2024.

In conversation, Smith celebrated songs like “faith,” “Untitled” and “To Wish Impossible Things.” He also explained how he likes “Before Three,” but is not a fan of the self-titled album on which she is featured.

“The disc The Cure It’s probably my least favorite album we’ve made. I don’t like some things, it’s the only album I think doesn’t work,” he said (via NME). ‘Before Three‘ is a good song that would probably work.”
