The authorities suspect two employees and a cleaner of the Casa Sur hotel in Buenos Aires
Argentine police are investigating whether employees at the Casa Sur hotel in Buenos Aires supplied drugs to Liam Payne hours before the singer fell from a third-floor balcony and died instantly. The information comes from the American magazine People.
Authorities reportedly suspect two employees and a cleaner, who may be involved in supplying drugs to the British singer. Some of the drugs were found inside a soap box that was in Payne’s room. Additionally, police found drugs, alcoholic drinks and broken objects.
“There appears to be evidence that a hotel employee supplied the drugs to Payne. There could soon be an indictment for drug dealing,” revealed a source at the Prosecutor’s Office, who preferred not to be identified by the magazine, but was aware of the investigation. .

It is worth noting that the Prosecutor’s Office believes that the artist had a “dubious death” with signs that he was “alone” and “is going through some kind of toxic substance abuse.” “Payne did not adopt a thoughtful posture to protect himself and [indica] who may have fallen into a state of semi-consciousness or total unconsciousness”, describes an excerpt from the Argentine deputy’s report.
The Prosecutor’s Office does not exclude any investigative bias, including crimes or possible involvement of third parties (such as drug supply) in Payne’s death, which occurred on October 16. The preliminary autopsy says that the singer died of polytrauma and internal and external hemorrhage.
The former One Direction member’s body will be handed over to his family after authorities complete final clinical tests, which are expected to conclude this week. He will be buried on October 27 in London.
