All performances have been rescheduled for February 2025.
This is the second time that Justin Timberlake cancels shows in October this year. Earlier this month, he postponed a schedule in New Jersey hours before taking the stage. The singer stated that he suffered an injury, although he did not give further details. However, a few days later he was already recovered and continued his schedule normally.
The artist also canceled a show in London earlier this year after contracting “some kind of virus.”
Justin Timberlake is one of the main attractions at Lollapalooza Brasil 2025. The singer is scheduled in the line-up for Sunday, March 30th.
Ups and downs
The year 2024 has been one of ups and downs for Justin Timberlake.
In addition to the tour, the singer released his new album in March, Everything I Thought It Wasmarking his first solo work since Man of the Woods (2018).
But the pop star also faced some setbacks. In addition to the sequence of cancellations and health problems, Timberlake was stopped and arrested in June on suspicion of drunk driving.
After a deal with New York prosecutors, he pleaded guilty and was ordered to do community service, pay a $500 fine and issue a public safety advisory.
“This is a mistake I made, but I hope whoever is watching and listening now can learn from this mistake. Even if it’s just a drink, don’t get behind the wheel of a car,” he wrote in the statement.
